{"id":106,"date":"2025-12-17T12:00:34","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T12:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cive.cymru\/?p=106"},"modified":"2025-12-17T12:00:34","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T12:00:34","slug":"cive-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cive.cymru\/index.php\/2025\/12\/17\/cive-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"CIVE 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year we secured funding from the Millenium Stadium fund and purchased equipment for families and groups of all ages to play a variety of games on the community field and in the village hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also secured funding from Awards for All Wales to help with hall rental and to support the running of our current groups plus to develop some new activities. This funding also pays for volunteer training and DBS checks and some funding for more new equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The C.I.V.E Committee is Chaired by Ben Graham, who also takes the lead on Family Games , The Treasurer is Mark Fenn ( Although Mark and Jane have now moved to Narberth they are still actively involved supporting this community), Natasha James (who has developed the website for us and takes the lead with Craft and Chat and Film Partnerships), Melissa Binet Fauvel who takes the lead on Coffee and Chat and supports Ben with Family games and Craft initiative, May Clegg who takes the lead on The Plant Exchange and supports the committee with all other activities. Jane Fenn still supports the committee behind the scenes with administration, fundraising, and governance. The CIVE committee try to meet monthly and community members are welcome to attend to meetings, please let us know if you are interested in attending email <a href=\"mailto:committee@cive.cymru\">committee@cive.cymru<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Capel Iwan Village Events WhatsApp group with and Capel Iwan Village Events Facebook Group have grown in number this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We now have a website www.cive.cymru please have a look. We will keep this updated with all dates for 2026 and relevant community news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ran a Seed and Plant exchange in May that was very well attended, and everyone seemed to enjoy the morning. Next one booked for 9<sup>th<\/sup> May 2026 10.30 \u2013 12.30<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coffee and Chat Groups continue 1<sup>st<\/sup> and third Thursday of the month with a time change of 10-12 now. All booked in for 2026 starting Jan 15<sup>th<\/sup> 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Craft and Chat Group continue on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> Thursday of the month with a time change to 5.30-7.30pm. all booked in for 2026 starting Jan 8<sup>th<\/sup> 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We held Family Games on the field and in the hall this year and all very well attended. We hope to build on this for 2026 offering more Family Game opportunities and the establishment of a Petanque Court on the field behind the hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A successful Craft Day was run this year, with the opportunity to try out different crafts, we plan for two more Craft Days in 2026, dates to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Film partnership with Newcastle Emlyn community group, Cadernid and Attic Theatre has been sold out on all three films and we hope to develop this partnership in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">November 29<sup>th<\/sup> 2025 We showed a Capel Iwan Community Archive and hope to collect more stories from the community. Plans include more films about our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Christmas Tree is now planned as an annual event and hopefully in 2026 we can organise carols around the tree with a social event too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have contributed additional rental income to Capel Iwan Community Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thank you all for your support.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a id=\"_msocom_1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eleni, derbyniwyd cyllid gan gronfa Stadiwm y Mileniwm a phrynwyd offer i deuluoedd a grwpiau o bob oed fel y gallan nhw chwarae amrywiaeth o gemau yn y cae cymunedol ac yn neuadd y pentref.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Derbyniwyd hefyd gyllid gan Arian i Bawb Cymru i helpu gyda rhentu\u2019r neuadd ac ar gyfer rhedeg ein grwpiau presennol, yn ogystal \u00e2 datblygu rhai gweithgareddau newydd. Mae&#8217;r cyllid hwn hefyd yn talu am hyfforddiant i wirfoddolwyr a gwiriadau DBS, a defnyddir rhywfaint o\u2019r arian am ragor o offer newydd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cadeirydd Pwyllgor C.I.V.E yw Ben Graham, sydd hefyd yn gyfrifol am y Gemau i\u2019r Teulu. Rydyn ni\u2019n bwriadu cynnal dau Ddiwrnod Crefftau arall yn 2026. Byddwn yn cadarnhau\u2019r dyddiadau maes o law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae\u2019r bartneriaeth ffilm gyda\u2019r gr\u0175p cymunedol o Gastellnewydd Emlyn, Cadernid ac Attic Theatre, wedi gwerthu pob tocyn ar gyfer pob un o\u2019r tair ffilm, ac rydyn ni\u2019n gobeithio datblygu\u2019r bartneriaeth hon yn 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ar 29 Tachwedd 2025, dangoswyd Archif Gymunedol Capel Iwan ac rydyn ni\u2019n gobeithio casglu rhagor o straeon gan ein cymuned.
